VF-103 Complete!

Hi guys! Managed to squeeze out time to finish off this kit a few days ago when I had some free time. Same 1/72 Academy kit built OOB, used aftermarket decals for VF-103 instead of kit decals. Gotta love those Twobobs decals. Canopy wasn't glued on when pictures were taken, so some pics might show some misalignment

So, here goes!

Super Bug!!

Hi guys!!! The F-14 build is on hold for quite some time while waiting for the decals. So... to prevent my mind from blowing from all that awesomeness of those Tomcats, I started working on my Tamiya F-18E Super Hornet.

A re-box of the Italeri kit, bad fitting almost everywhere, especially the intakes, solution: intake covers!!! Same as always, a OOB build using kit decals.

Pretty satisfied with the final product, although the kit was full of inaccuracies, it still looks like a Super Hornet.

1/72 F-14 (VF-103 Jolly Rogers)

Hey dudes! Have not been updating this blog for quite some time eh.... Been busy with stuff and also with this aircraft model kit! Same as the previous F-14, built from the 1/72 Academy boxing with aftermarket decals. Until now, I have finished the major paint jobs, I gave it a go at fading panels (I must say it looks even better). Now waiting for my decals to arrive!



Update!!! - Added the exhaust cans, brushed on a Future coat, decal on weapons! Panel line wash applied on topside (enamel black thinned with lighter fluid), came out just right, thanks to the rescribed panel lines.

Update!!! - Finished decalling, decals from Twobobs: VF-103 Final Cruise. Still left Future coat, a little more weathering experiment, and flat coat! Almost done!!!

Academy 1/72 F-14A Completed!!!!!

Hi guys!!! Completed this kit today, flat coat done by future + tamiya flat base. Realized tail fins attached in opposite sides after flat coating, nothing much can be done....
