[WIP] MG 00 Qan[T] Part 3

Final update for this WIP. Managed to get my hands on the Bandai MG 00Q Decals. Strange enough, there's almost enough decals on that single sheet for 2 00Q.

Then I found the white parts are kind of too uniform, so I mixed a different shade of grey and painted it onto certain areas according to the panel lines.
Not really clear on the shoulder piece due to lighting,
but the effect can be seen on the arm.

Completed panel lining using Tamiya's new product: Panel Line Accent Color
It's enamel base, but it can be wiped off using lighter fluid. Really easy to use, just apply and wipe. Simple

[WIP] MG 00 Qan[T] Part 2

Alright, managed to finish painting this kit over the weekend.
Some paint mishaps but nothing too serious.
Did not take much photos as I was rushing through the paintjob. Still thinking of ways to tackle the clear green parts. Otherwise left with decaling, panel lining and final clear coat to seal everything.

[WIP] MG 00 Qan[T] Part 1

While waiting for decals for the 3 Gundam Thrones, I started on another build. A quick one to de-stress myself, definitely not an easy job painting those 1/144 kits.

The subject of this build is the MG 00 Qan[T]. Already snap-fitted quite some time ago.
Did some simple pla-plating on the knee area and on the 'shield'.
Kit primed and ready for painting!

[WIP] Project Gundam Thrones Part 5

Managed to do enough work to compile into an update.

Completed painting Throne Eins.
Custom mix brownish black for the main body, weapons grey and internal frame grey are both different shades of neutral grey.

RG Freedom at the background.. Next project maybe???

Fixed up Sparkle Red Action Base for all 3 thrones.
Pink/black stripes painted on the shoulder and waist areas. Yellow/Black vents on legs painted.
So I can display in this setup...

This project is finally coming to an end, Still have to touch up Zwei's sword and Eins beam rifle, then to the final steps: Panel lining, decals(?), flat coat.
Thanks for looking!
