PG Strike progress

Hi, I have completed the body of my PG Strike. What's left are the arms, head and weapons. Fitting of parts for the body isn't as good, some areas require trimming to get a acceptable fitting, some areas needed superglue. Again, the armor pieces need superglue to make them stay on. Hope I will be able to complete it by next week

PG Strike progress

Hi, finally completed the legs and hips area, also managed to spray the white armor for these parts. I would say that most armor pieces fit loose, will have to use super glue for a stronger attachment later on.

PG Strike progress

Hi! Here's what I have finished. These 2 legs took about 3 hours to assemble. Fitting them into the foot was quite difficult, had to trim the polycaps a little. Anyway, I would say that the parts go on quite well, not much loose areas. Quality of the plastic is not so good (details missing in some parts, hope the outer armour will cover these areas up). Just the leg alone is taller than my MG God Gundam, can't imagine how tall the whole kit will be.

PG Strike (5% completed)

Bought this Model GD PG Strike last week. Reviews online say that its a bad kit, joints/parts are loose, the 'eyes' are too big, parts don't fit properly. Despite these problems, I feel that the end result seems to be quite good, see pic below:

Assembling the feet alone took me about 1+ hour, the internal frame is made up of like a zillion parts. I plan to respray all the parts (including the inner frame) to their colors after priming. Anyway, this is what I have done up till for this kit

1/144 A-10

Kit from Shanghai Dragon, lots of tiny parts. Original paint scheme was some desert scheme, but painted kit in standard 2 grey scheme.

Whole kit handpainted, Gunze Aqueous H307, H308. Panel lined with pencil, decals on, final flat coat to seal.

Satisfied with result, but should have added weight at the nose otherwise its a tail seater.

F-15 (Academy + Micro Ace)

Completed 2 F-15s during the past 1.5 wks. The darker grey F-15 is from Academy, the other one from Micro Ace. Both handpainted, the silver areas are sprayed on. The academy set provided more decals than the micro ace set (which have quite a few repeated decals) One problem with the academy F-15 is that the panels for the canopy are recessed, something like panel lines, can see the difference in the canopy for both kits in the pictures below

Tried abit of weathering on the dark grey F-15, doesn't seem to show up quite well in the photos.
